FS: Performance 2.8 with ~ 6000 miles on it. Perfect for a 2.8 Turbo build.   (The Mall - by zkhennings, started: 07-29-2014, last post: 2015-07-27 22:33:23 CEST)
I have for sale my mildly built 2.8 with around 6000 miles on it (been driving it since May 2013 and now it is parked in my garage)The engine was new, with all new parts installed and with rebuilt heads. I built it to turbo it, but I never did because I decided I wanted to swap in an ecotec...

Okay, this isn't "Whats faster", but just a simple question. I still don't have a Fiero (Working on money, so I can fix my stupid Bronco and sell it), but I'm curious.Whats a good option?I probably wont be doing an engine swap right off once I get the car, as I don't really have the know-how and I...

2.8 Turbo to 3.4 Turbo   (Archive: TD&Q - by 88GTURBO, started: 08-16-2002, last post: 2003-02-04 11:39:21 CET)
So my well worn 2.8 is getting long in the tooth and using more than its fair share of oil. The smoke screen at start up was amusing at first but has become annoying as of late. So it is time to build a 3.4 motor. What are the suggestions? I am currently running Design Ones Stage 1 Kit, about 7-8...

UPDATE 8/24/12: Quarter mile video/slip pic at the end of the thread!Just a quick pic/video update on my 2.8 turbo project. Car is running well, still working on getting a final tune dialed in with Ryan (Darth Fiero), who I have to thank for getting this running so well. I really don't know what...

Hey fiero goons. Im building my 87 GT my dad gave to me a few years ago. Its your plain old 87 gt model with a faded spoiler and silver ground effects. 145k miles, runs great, 5 speed car.Going to be boosting it, with a intercooled setup, probably a 60mm turbo t3/t4 with a DSM style in/out on one...

Not sure if this has been discussed before (I'm sure it has at some point), but has anyone seen this turbo Fiero with the intercooler housed in the spoiler? It's the second car in the video, at about 51 seconds. Very interesting!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzQ-oRsPcq8

Why Not To Turbo A Stock 2.8   (General Fiero Chat - by IMSA GT, started: 01-21-2018, last post: 2018-01-23 09:18:49 CET)
These guys have a crazy channel. They add turbos and nitrous to old clunkers, put them on a dyno, and try to blow them up. The Fiero is no exception

I have a 87 GT with the original Miller-Woods Stage II turbo kit (8-10 psi). I am interested in updating the heads and intake to improve flow and performance over the stock parts. What are the best heads and intake for a turbo? -Scott

What spark plugs for a 2.8 turbo   (Technical Discussion & Questions - by countach711, started: 11-07-2014, last post: 2014-11-10 11:48:05 CET)
I know this has been asked before, and I've read all I could find, but they are all older and I can't find any plugs locally now that will work. On Amazon they have Autolite 23 but that's about all I've been able to find. I want one colder range and some advice on gap. There are no markings I...
