Iron duke idles high and runs rough after wash

The car ran fine, and after a wash, it now idles at 1200 and runs really rough. Obviously water got somewhere. I checked all my connections and blew air all around trying to dry it off. I don’t have codes.

Duke high idle after cleaning throttle body

I took off the throttle body on my 85 duke and cleaned the passages out and the gunk buildup. Got it back on and the car runs great but now the idle is high, my tach isn't accurate so I don't know exactly how high but its about twice as high as it idled before. High Idle and Flooding 84 Duke

Hey guys...1984 4 banger.. Runs fine most of the time. Randomly jumps idle up to 2200-3500 RPM. STAYS at that idle indefinitely. Checked for vaccum leaks, none to be found. Check engine light does not come on when this happens...Basically, when the idle jumps, if you press the gas, the engine spits...

Duke high idle on startup??

My 84 I just put together runs at a very high RPM on startup. Maybe 2000 or less. Is this normal or is my TPS going to **** . Thanks.

84 duke idles real high, code 22 TPS voltage low the problem?

High Idle Duke

Its an 85 duke and when i start the car it idles a little over 2000 till about 5 or so minutes and then the idle begins to come down when it warms up. once warmed up it is fine and idles around 1000. i have replaced the coolant temp sensor and the idle air control. Any ideas?Danny
