Source for reasonably priced 87/88 HL module?

Is there any reasonably priced source for these things? I'll keep an eye on the local u-pull yard for the cross reference, but just wondering if anyone else has a place to buy other than ebay.Looking inside, it appears to be a very simple circuit, and $2-300 seems crazy. Anyway, Thanks!

Installing Gen 2 Firebird Headlight motors into Fiero

I got a couple decent gen2 motors from a firebird at the junkyard and am rebuilding them with new grease and bushings. However...will they bolt up to the Fiero linkages? Or did I need the Firebird linkages? They looked different so I didn't take them... I currently have the gen1 system...86 GT....

Headlights: Left will go up, neither will go down.

These are "Generation 2" headlights. They've always worked perfectly when out of the blue they suddenly stopped working a few days ago. The left headlight will come up while the right stays down, but neither will come down (after I manually raise the right headlight).All fuses are ok, the dashboard...

Gen 2 headlight module interchange

I had a headlight module go a few weeks ago. I tried a headlight module for a gen 3 Firebird (same GM p/n on the inside of the case) that is either shot or incompatible for some reason. Who has replaced a module with one from another car and can verify what works and what doesn't?

Trying to help a local 1987 Fiero owner locate a headlight control module. He claims to be having a problem with the headlight motors not closing, otherwise they operate normally. Someone else has diagnosed it as being a faulty module. Before I give him this info, does anyone know if the info below...

Hi, what other cars use the same headlight module as the 88 fiero gt? I saw some 88-90 firebirds in the u pull and couldnt find the module. Where would it be on those cars and can they fit my gt? Thanks!
