Front suspension problem......

Whenever I'm driving down the freeway the front end feels really loose. The whole car kinda sways back and forth in the ruts. I'm not a suspension guru, so I haven't a clue what's going on. I checked it out underneath, but could find no problems evident to the naked eye. Anyone have an idea for...

The JC Whitney catalog shows some Suspension Techniques "High Performance - Lowering Sport Springs" for $80 front ro rear. Does anyone know how these compare to the Eibach sport lowering springs that the Fiero Store sells for about $45 more for the pair( $205 compared to $160)?I have the Eibach...

88 wheel bearings...life span & testing?

My Formula has steering wheel vibration that starts at about 50 and increases with speed.110K, Wheels are true, tires (3K) have no bumps/knots, rotors appear true, ball joints appear ok.I think the front wheel bearings might be shot. Since they are not adjustable, what is their normal life span? ...

Cradel Differences?

Lower, firmer, tougher, meaner

It's been a long drawn out project, but the Batmobile front end is done... well... sort of... I have to readjust the tie rods, it's terribly out of alignment. The front wheels both point out slightly. I didn't realize the replacement inner rods were a tad longer. I'm going to adjust the tie rods...

Suspension ??

I am wanting to upgrade the front suspension and was wondering where the best place is to get bushings, ball joints and springs. Is this a very hard job to do? I'm not overly mechanically inclined, but I'm willing to learn. Thanks!

urethane bushings

I'm reading Herb Adams' book "Chassis Engineering" and have come to the chapter on Bushings and Deflections. Herb doesn't have a real high opinion of urethane suspension bushings. But he does say that they can be customized to work by hand-fitting to get proper clearances and installing grease...
