Grille in taillights   (Archive: TD&Q - by Monkeyman, started: 12-19-1999, last post: 1910-02-21 04:11:25 AMT)
Does anyone know if the grille inside the notchback taillights comes out? I'd like to remove it, but I can't find any reference to that in my Haynes manual and I'd hate to spend the time (outside in the snow) to remove the assy if I can't get the grille out.

interesting mod!   (Archive: GFC - by Gokart, started: 12-11-1999, last post: 1910-02-21 04:04:55 AMT)
I saw 7 Fieros today while x-mas shopping for my wife! That's a record for me! (not that I'm some kind of sicko that COUNTS FIEROS!) The last one I saw had a rear light mod. He apparently removed the tail light covers and painted them black from the inside, cut out four circles on each side, then...

electronic experts wanted   (Archive: TD&Q - by batboy, started: 10-02-1999, last post: 1910-01-30 17:46:35 AMT)
I was amazed at all the knowledgeable electronics people we have on the forum, especially in that sequential taillight thread. Maybe one of you bright people can design a cheap and easy headlight reminder. You know, a buzzer to tell you your lights are on after you turn the ignition off. It's...

Custom rear sequential turn signals   (Archive: TD&Q - by Patrick, started: 09-02-99, last post: 1910-01-30 17:46:35 AMT)
Is there anyone here who is familiar with the rear sequential turn signals that were on the late ‘60s, early ‘70s Cougar? I guess I'm easily amused, but I was always intrigued by the Cougar's rear turn signals. The Ford (Mercury) Cougar had three (red) lights on each side in the back, and when the...

Sequential Turn Signals - Again.   (Archive: TD&Q - by alpha, started: 09-30-1999, last post: 1910-01-20 08:12:38 AMT)
What was the outcome of the search for a reliable, cheap circuit for sequential turn signals? Does anyone have the schematic for the new circuit which is supposed to be able to be build with in stock parts at radio shack?I was working on a new one with the 555 timer, but if someone has a working...

Sequential Turn Signals (Part 2)   (Archive: TD&Q - by Cliff Pennock, started: 10-22-1999, last post: 1910-01-20 08:12:06 AMT)
Ok, I have converted Greg Piet's schematic into a PCB. You can find it in PDF (you need Adobe Acrobat) format here: http://www.fiero.nl/uploads/flasher.pdf .Please be aware that I have not tested the design for the following reason:1) I do not have a fiero with the proper turn-signals,2) I didn't...

The evidence against anthropogenic global warming   (Totally O/T - by fierobear, started: 06-07-2008, last post: 2024-04-23 14:37:27 CEST)
I'm sure you've heard the statements that "the debate is over" or "the science is settled" on anthropogenic (man-caused) global warming (AGW). The IPCC, the international body that is pushing for worldwide action against AGW, and politicians are trying to convince you that the issue is settled. Al...
