I would like to destroke a 3.4 Camero/Fierbird block useing a 3.1 crank. Does anyone have the diameter size for the 3.4 mains, and the 3.1 crank? Thanks in advance.

How much horsepower has a 3.1 V6

I recently bought a 87 GT 3.1 V6. It has a manual 5-speed transmission. Does anyone know how much horsepower is in there. According to the dealer (who has 15 years of fiero experience including tuning) it is about 160 HP. Does ayone know if this is true and is there anyway to add a few more...

Fiero 3.1 EGR Soleniod problem

I just put a 3.1 V6 in a 86 Se Fiero and I have a vaccum line from the EGR solenoid which I can't find where it goes (It was Burnt). My ECM is giving me a code 32 (I believe) which indicates a EGR problem. my car is also surging when i slow down in gear. Can someone please help me on this?Fred 3.1...

Alright, whole thing is litterly about to plug into tranny, but noticed theres what looks to be an oil temp sensor or something sticking out of the old 2.8 block just above the filter. The 3.1 doesn't have this... although it has something on the opposite side of the block. Looks like a temp...

any internal differences between aluminum head 3.1and TGP 3.1 turbo?

i know externally they are very different...do both motors have the same crank and pistons....i know the crank is the same stroke, i'm wondering if its a different material (forged vs cast). rods are the same in every 60* V6, so that just leaves pistons. if u have any info on this i'd appreciate...
