Hello all, So my friend and i had the great idea to paint my fiero. Now by no means are we professionals but we are very handy around the garage and cars. After parking my fiero in his back yard we began by pulling off most of the body panels. Hood, trunk, front fascia, rear bumper...ect. We...

I just recently painted my car and am now doing the post wet sanding and buffing. I wasn't sure where to post this question. I decided to post here, if that is wrong, feel free to rake me over the coals. After wet sanding I get the customary haze, but am having difficulty getting the haze totally...

Another Paint Question!   (Archive: TD&Q - by blazin', started: 03-23-2004, archived: 2004-10-15 10:17:56 CEST)
I vaguely recall reading somewhere in the archives that enamel paint will not work on a Fiero, is this true? I can get a good deal on a gallon of "Spicy Orange Mica" (MazdaSpeed Orange) by Limco, I was wondering if other members have used enamel paint, or not. And if it did an acceptable...

What kind of paint is this on my car?   (Archive: TD&Q - by hcforde, started: 04-10-2013, archived: 2016-03-23 10:10:18 CET)
Bought a 1986 GT Fastback that has a flat black paint over it(looks like it might be house latex). The reason I think it might be latex is that it is a "thick" coat. The paint underneath is the GOLD that Pontiac did and I know it is prone to fading but this 'cure' is worse than the problem IMHO. ...

I know this may be a lot to ask for, but is there a good site that I can get information on tips on re-painting my Fiero? I've gotten 11 estimates in my area, cheapest estimate is $2,100, way over what I paid for the car!! I did some spray painting years ago when I was younger, but never worked...

Nobody sells Fiero Touch-up Paint!   (Archive: TD&Q - by FIER086, started: 04-18-2007, archived: 2009-02-19 10:44:24 CET)
I went to a local Pontiac/GM dealer searching for a match for my silver paint so I could do some minor touch ups and I told the guy it was a Fiero and he laughs and says that you cant get that color anymore! He basically told me that I wont be able to find an exact match anywhere. Is this true or...

I like the brakes set up alot better on the 88 Fiero, its alot better design.I was going to use an 88 4 banger Fiero...
