I have just had my V6 engine in my 88 GT replaced by a re-manufactured engine. At idle everything is OK, but at 5000 RPM (unter no load -- transmission in neurtal) the manifold starts to glow red-hot.Exhaust back-preasure, ignition timing, MAP sensor, and fuel mixture appers to be OK.Any idears...

yeah they're glowin cherry red. i don't think it's a vacuum leak. could it be caused by anything else? is there a way to tell if it is or frome where? i just replaced the EGR tube last year so i think thats ruled out.
