Changing color

I am planning on getting my Fiero painted a diffrent color. I went by a paint shop today to get a quote. He quoted me $3500.00-$4000.00. The guy told me he would not strip the old paint off, just sand it down even then paint over it. I thought you would have to get rid of the old paint first. ...

Pulling panels to paint or not

I'm going to strip off all the body panels from an 87 GT as part of an auto shop class. We will need to get it painted (stock silver most likely). Is it best to paint all the panels off the car? or shot them on the body? Pros? cons? how about if a color change is made? THanks Mike

my fiero has cracking and chipping on the painted surfaces. i can only affors this maaco embassador service for 230$. i was only going to have them paint the body and leave the ground fx as is. the ground fx is silver, the car is black. so i was told they do no prepping. its just spray and go....
