Take a look at the following pictures of the clutch release arm and tell me if this is normal, before I have to pull the tranny off again. How much free play is there supposed to be before the clucth lever arm moves the throw out bearing into contact with the clutch. I have about .9" of free play....

Has anyone thought about using a rotary engine?

Has anyone thought about using a rotary (Wankel) engine? I understand that the last year RX-7 had over 300 H.P. in a very compact engine. How hard would it be to convert one of these to fit the stock Getrag 5 speed? Any comments will be welcomed.

Im thinking of splitting the case in my 5 speed Getrag tranny to replace the throw out bearing sleeve and seal, the piece the throw out bearing actually rides on. Technical, non Fiero, for my Subaru
