Yet another Grand Am brake upgrade, but it's my Grand Am brake upgrade... with photos

There's plenty of write ups of this brake upgrade, so I went ahead and did it this weekend.All in all it was a fairly straight forward setup. I bought some 84-87 Rotors/Front hubs and had my local machine shop cut them down to match the slotted '87 Brake Performance '87 Grand Am rotors I picked up....

Need help bleeding brakes after a brake upgrade

I just did a brake upgrade, I swapped from my stock Fiero brakes(which were fine but had a soft pedal) and moved to upgrade Corvette C5 brakes.I swapped out the booster for an S10 booster and the master cylinder for a larger upgraded one from a blazer as well. For now, I am just upgrading the front...

Lebaron brake upgrade rear left brake cable short

I am upgrading to the Lebaron 11.25 brakes on my 86 se. The rear left brake cable is too short. I know that the Fiero Store in the past has made a cable that is 4 inches longer, but has anyone used a Pontiac 6000 left rear brake cable? DPWood mentions it in the write up for the GrandAm/Seville...

Trouble bleeding the brakes after a brake upgrade..

So I have C5 brakes on the front and the Lebarron/Deville upgrade in the rear. I have an S10 master cylinder and S10 booster. I replaced everything at once, but unfortunately I had to leave one of the lines open for a few days and a ton of air got into the system. Problem is, I can not bleed them...

I have an 86 GT that I would like to upgrade the brakes to 88 brakes.

I have the 88 calipers ready to go and was wondering if it is difficult to do or if anyone know where to find information on how to do it. I tried doing a search but was only coming up with brake upgrades to corvette brakes.Thank you for any advice.Thanks Pat Moody

What brake upgrade maintains a hand brake?

So I’ve added The beefed up brake booster, thinking about better than stock rotors, etc.... what’s the easiest set up and yet maintains a hand brake for a manual? This is for an 87! Thanks in advance!
