Glowing manifolds, idling problem solved (follow up to previous post)

Just posting this in case it might help someone else. After checking everything I could think of I did the reset procedure for the IAC. Started the engine with the IAC unplugged, I noticed the exhaust manifolds no longer glowed and the idle was actually smoother. I had already checked the IAC/TB...

I just finished installing new intake gaskets on a 87 GT 2.8. When I started it up and let it run for about 10 minutes the exhaust started to glow. Seems to be idling a little high also. Any suggestions?
