I'm driving my sweet little 87 GT around with a bad connecting rod bearing, after only 118k on it! It over-heated in heavy traffic, because of a bad F.S. fan relay = bearing knock! :-( I can't afford to do a 3800SC swap right now, so I'm opting for the 3400 LA1 swap. I've read and am still...

tried putting a sequential in 85 fiero. Added a third turn/brake socket in center. Can get the 2 outer lamps to work. When I add a third in the wiring all lamps flash together. Any ideas of what is wrong ? Thanks Ed

Our 84’s really are a different car from all the rest.On the 84 there are two more relays, just below the fuel pump and AC relays. These turn on the outer most brake light when you step on your breaks. (listen the next time you step on your breaks and you’ll hear them click) they also work the...

LED bulbs for exterior lighting.   (Technical Discussion & Questions - by Rhodesia1977, started: 11-23-2021, last post: 2021-11-29 22:42:14 CET)
Has anyone tried using the LED bulbs for the exterior lighting like brake lights, blinkers, etc? I once tried some on my 2000 Cadillac Catera and they really messed up my electrical system. Just wondering if they would do the same to my 1986 Fiero GT. Thank you!

Fellow Code Geeks: Northstar with TPI computer   (Archive: TD&Q - by Will, started: 10-16-2003, last post: 2004-07-10 10:36:56 CEST)
While the chip I have currently runs my Northstar fairly well, I believe there's room for improvement. Since neither TunerCat nor GMEPro have definition files for the N* ECM yet, and I don't yet know enough about 68HC11 assembly to hack my own, I've been thinking about switching to a different...
