(Archive: TD&Q - by 2m6turbo, started: 09-07-2005, last post: 2006-02-06 11:44:13 CET)
Hopefully I will eventually get my fiero running, but I was wondering if anyone has a guess or a similar build as mine and can give me a ball park range of hp, torque, and 1/4 mile time it should run. It is a 1985 SE with the iron headed 2.8 and 125 3 speed auto. The engine has polished heads,...

Turbo camshaft for 2.8 V6.
(Archive: TD&Q - by SCCA FIERO, started: 05-30-2003, last post: 2003-11-10 11:11:57 CET)
Does anyone offer a cam for a turbo 2.8? I was told Comp. Cams does, but I sit on hold for 20 minutes and end up hanging up. Their website is gone too.I was using the Crane 2030 w/Comp. Cams 1.6 rockers with good results. Maybe I'll get another one if I can't find an actual turbo profile cam.

I recently got into a discussion with a fellow Fiero enthusiast about Turbo charging the 2.8. Neither of us were experts on the topic, but we did come up with some questions and points so I told him I would ask here and see what those who know more would say.First off there are claims from 2.8...

Fresh 3.4 vs. turbo 2.8?
(Archive: TD&Q - by Carrolles, started: 06-06-2000, last post: 2001-01-16 09:36:00 CET)
Anybody compared the performance of a fresh 3.4 to putting a turbo on a rebuilt 2.8?Remanufactured 3.4s can be gotten for around $1700. Turbo kits seem to run around $3000.I'd like to keep the car streetable (meaning no wild turbo boost).
