Crankcase Vent

Cleaning up the 85GT V-6 engine. Can I replace the oil filler cap with a " Crankcase Breather vent/filter , 9mm. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ???...." it removes the OEM PCV system and relieves pressure. Ebay item from Speed Daddy 4006909975554. Need expert advice from you guys. Thank you.

Plastic colored tube covers

Notice there are spiraled plastic covers tubing in chrome or colors for wire, tubes, ignition, vacuum lines that can be covered for appearance. Wonder if the heat will affect them. Anyone using this for show ??? Reply please.

High Temp paint

Finished doing the exhaust manifold gasket..removed a lot of heat shields, etc. Cleaned, primed and used VHT sparay paint, all went well EXCEPT..the exhaust manifold is stainless and the paint burned of. WHY ???..the rest of the parts are fine.

help !!!!. Finished the exhaust gasket problem, removed the tubes from fan for coil and alternator for more room, then put them back BUT can't figure how to get the heat shield back in place. Need a photo of the stock V-6 from the top between the trunk wall and engine ( as you face the engine)....

Rubber tubing

Ok..need some advice. have finished with new exhaust manifold gaskets, EGR tube,re torqued bolts but wondering if I should replace the rubber ( neoprene ??) vacuum lines with silicone tubing that comes in different colors and I.D. Whats the difference of rubber and silicone as to heat with the...

Air conditioner change over to r 134a

Wanted..."whale tail" for 84 trunk
