Outside temp..72*..drove for 35 minutes at 65 MPH, then 15 minutes at 40 MPH..then stopped. Rear engine compartment on the 85GT with a stock V-6.....temp ....150*

Have to wonder, short of finding a thermometer for the rear, what the temperature that is average for the 85 V-6. Any opinions ???

Fiero White Paint

The color code for 84-88 white paint is a code 40 WA 8554. Thought I saw something on one of Pennock' sites that in 2015 the same paint is available under a different gm code. . Any info would be appreciated.. Its hard to find a Duplicolor ds gm 338 which was close.

Mustang Scoops for Sail panels

Has anyone ever considered using a Mustang side scoop ( triangle shaped) over the side sail panels on a " notchy". Looks like they would fit as a fake add on.

Vinyl wrap

Has anyone used the clear vinyl wrap instead of a bra for a 85 GT ??? The clear seems interesting, but I wonder how difficult it is to get a smooth surface. I've been told they even vinyl wrap a complete car. Your comments please.

Here we go again. My buddies are arguing about engine size, ie. 4, 6 and 8 cylinders with or without turbo's or superchargers as to what is more power full. Given that the old Indy cars had 4 cylinder Offenhausers, then V-8's, aspirated then injected, turbo or supercharged , the 84 Fiero Indy pace...

Using VHT on stainless exhaust manifold

I assume you have to use VHT primer first that I cannot find at the Auto Zones. I sprayed them ( before assembly and were perfectly clean) without a primer, they looked good but burned off to a dull grey. Any advice ???
