Thermostat change

Going to replace the stock thermostat, its original. Notice most guys go for the 195*. Do I have to change the sensor, or just put in the new one.

My mind started to wander after reading Mark Donahues booK, " The Unfair Advantage". Got to thinking if you took a 85-88 Fiero to professional race car builders, what changes would they make as to the engine, suspension et al. to make the Fiero a first class fast and safe road car or racing car....

Water leak

Tried to find a small water/coolant leak in right rear of car. Checked the " weep hole" of water pump, hoses etc. Is there a dye I can put into the overflow and check with a " glow light" like when they put dye in the oil to test for leaks . Someone suggested food coloring, but I think it would get...

Guess the eyes are going. Can't see much at night with the stock bulbs. Are there brighter plug in replacements???. Not looking forward in pulling the dash so I want to do it right. What is better for color ?? Red, orange or white ??

checked pennocks for info, all say buy ONLY Cardone Select # 5513114. Nothing on Ebay, Auto Zone or O'Reillys here in Chicago. Does this Cardone ALWAYS come with the clamp ( or wedge) with plug AND is the impeller metal and not plastic.. Any idea where to buy ????
