What gives? Driver's headlight motor quit working

Gen1 -> Gen2 headlight motor swap

Well I'm finally getting sick of messing with the gen1 system, just about ready to swap over to the gen 2's. Finding a donor car will be difficult, BUT there might be an 87 in a yard an hour south of here. Is there a list of all the parts I need off the donor car? And do the new motors bolt right...

fixed headlights!!

is anyone else tired of hoping their lights come up everytime you turn them on? i was wondering if anyone could give me some info on what it takes to convert the motorized headlights to the fixed ones? E.G. hardware, what lights to use, bodywork, is there a kit available etc. thanks!!!

Gen 2 headlight module interchange

I had a headlight module go a few weeks ago. I tried a headlight module for a gen 3 Firebird (same GM p/n on the inside of the case) that is either shot or incompatible for some reason. Who has replaced a module with one from another car and can verify what works and what doesn't?

Installing Gen 2 Firebird Headlight motors into Fiero

I got a couple decent gen2 motors from a firebird at the junkyard and am rebuilding them with new grease and bushings. However...will they bolt up to the Fiero linkages? Or did I need the Firebird linkages? They looked different so I didn't take them... I currently have the gen1 system...86 GT....

Hi, what other cars use the same headlight module as the 88 fiero gt? I saw some 88-90 firebirds in the u pull and couldnt find the module. Where would it be on those cars and can they fit my gt? Thanks!
