(Archive: TD&Q - by Seanpaul, started: 03-10-2010, archived: 2011-05-02 10:42:50 CEST)
So I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about baking the intake parts to:#1 harden the carbon on the inside. #2 heat to make paint stick to the out side.I have striped all the paint off the intake so it's down to the raw aluminum. And as I was thinking of painting it, a hard chunk of carbon...

(Archive: TD&Q - by couldahadaV8, started: 05-19-2010, archived: 2016-03-23 10:12:25 CET)
A bit too pretentious for a title? OK, some of my rambling thoughts first. There have been a number of dash swaps done and documented on this forum. I’ve read most of them and really admire those that have done this, given the work and ingenuity that they require. But I’ve never found one that I...

(Archive: TD&Q - by Blue Shift, started: 02-12-2005, archived: 2009-09-07 11:04:54 CEST)
I've asked questions, I've done my research, and I've been compiling parts and taking pictures as I go. I'm almost ready to start installing in a bit here once I get a few things taken care of. There's a few areas I'm not absolutely positive on, but I think I'll figure them out when I'm there - and...

Glovebox install and interior cleanup

Hi guys! I recently got my '86 GT running after it had sat in a field for about 10 years. Needless to say, the interior is a bit sad but I'm working on cleaning it up. I wanted a bit more storage space so I bought a slightly used glovebox off another PFF member. I also bought a can of interior...

I've removed most of the interior trim. But I am having some trouble removing the areas surrounding the speedometer(not the dash).I used 'Spray Nine' disenfectant cleaner and then applied a thin coat of VINYL PAINT on a test area (the dome light casing). It looked awesome but it scraped off...
