Does anyone have any technical specs for the monsoon stereo that replacementradios.com sells specifically for the Fiero adaptation?I can't find anything on it doing web searches. All I really want to find out is what the power ouput is so I can see what speakers would go with it.

Anybody wire a Monsoon amp to a Non Monaoon radio?   (Archive: TD&Q - by Fiero STS, started: 09-03-2010, last post: 2012-01-11 09:58:15 CET)
I was wondering if it is possible to wire a Monsoon amp to an early 90's pontiac Radio with CD and equalizer. Looks like just speaker wires except for Gain Control Signal In Pin 24. Do I need this input? If so is there one on my radio?

So I was at the local "pick-a-part" last week and happened across a Monsoon AM/FM/CD in an 02 sunfire. I have been wanting a factory CD player in my 86 GT so I grabbed it.There was NO paperwork in the car, so I dont have the unlock codes, but I got the deck for a song and dance, so I'm ok if I have...

I finally figured out how to post pics so bear with me. Has anyone seen or own this radio and if so can you supply the pinouts for the 24 pin connector. I can't be the only one to try and use this unit as an upgrade to the original tape player. In doing a search using the part # off the tag,...

Monsoon - Radio   (Archive: TD&Q - by AndrewZ, started: 08-11-2008, last post: 2009-09-07 11:04:00 CEST)
A problem with the cd player, it reads the cd for a second or two, then spits it back out and displays E20. I'm guessing that that means error 20. The car was sitting for ~5 years. Anybody know what I should do?

Late model GM Monsoon Stereo?   (Archive: TD&Q - by Formula88, started: 10-29-2002, last post: 2003-02-04 11:36:48 CET)
So, I'm surfing Ebay looking for a late '90's Pontiac CD radio/CD player with EQ. I've found some Monsoon units from Firebirds, and other than the "Monsoon" label on the front, they are visually identical. I know they have more power and are upgraded units. Here's the question: Will they work in...

A little background first. I read the write up by fierosound titled "Fool Everybody, Stereo looks stock, sounds great" and loved the idea. I finally bought the recommended subwoofer but can't find the recommended amplifier anywhere! So I started looking at factory amplified systems that gm...
