F-body power steering rack - questions   (Technical Discussion & Questions - by Raydar, started: 10-26-2014, last post: 2018-05-02 19:51:06 CEST)
I've already asked enough questions in Lou's thread. Time to stop hijacking. For the folks who have used this rack... Rockauto only seems to list one replacement for the 95 Firebird. (I have to guess that the Camaro will be similar, if not the same part number, although to be fair, I haven't...

Build Thread....I think :)   (Archive: TD&Q - by Soelasca, started: 10-20-2004, last post: 2009-02-19 10:44:19 CET)
Ok.....so....I bought my first fiero about 10 years ago. Just like everyone else here, I heard everyone tell me what an idiot I was for buying a piece of junk. Shortly after buying the fiero I found out about v8 kits.......I think it was about 4 years back I took the fiero over a set of train...

Well, I guess it is about time, that I start documenting everything. I bought the car about a year and a half ago, and decided to start the work log, and catch up to where I am now. I figured it was best to hold off, and do a post with more than just a picture of the car a year and a half ago,...

Rear struts, Lower Control Arm Bushings, and Inner Tie-rods!   (Archive: TD&Q - by Twilight Fenrir, started: 07-22-2009, last post: 2011-05-02 10:44:07 CEST)
Well, brought my Fiero in for an alignment, and got shoo'ed out the door about 20 minutes later with a To-Do list. It would seem that the loud Thunking I've been hearing, and attributing to me being new at the manual transmission, are in fact, a bad rear driver-side strut, and lower control arm...

NEW Street Dreams lowering knuckles, multi-pattern hubs and modular brakes   (Archive: GFC - by Will, started: 10-08-2003, last post: 2006-02-06 12:26:46 CET)
I've hinted in a few threads recently that I've been working with Ross at Street Dreams on a totally new hub and brake setup for '84-'87 Fieros. I'd been thinking for a while that it would not be hard to make a billet hub with different bolt circles. I then thought that since I'm designing a hub...

I thought I saw someone on here earlier talking about bumpsteer eliminator kits or such? How much better does the 88 handle than an 87?

84-87 vs 88 front suspension   (Technical Discussion & Questions - by fireboss, started: 06-01-2014, last post: 2023-02-13 23:59:53 CET)
We all know that the 88 had the better suspension...A lot of 88 cradles have been swapped.and some have swapped the front suspension. My question : is the front suspension that much better? Other than the brakes which can easily be changed...

Ecotec, Fastback, T-Top Build.   (The Construction Zone - by Lunatic, started: 06-29-2014, last post: 2022-11-02 16:34:38 CET)
Hello fellow Fiero enthusiasts and welcome to my build. In my quest for a project, I decided on the Fiero. My car is a base 84 model notchback with no options, Duke and automatic transmission. Yuck, I know. However, I'm going to change all that! Follow along as I swap in a 2.2 litre normally...

I'm going start on installing new balljoints(upper/lower), poly bushings, and tie-rods(inner/outer). Does anybody have a website where there are step-by-step instructions and photos on this process. It would be great helpful to me. I can read instructions but i'm a visual person i need to see it...
