Best spark plugs for turbo 2.8?

Im just curious how turbo kits can cost 3000+ , when they say modfied T3 turbo...what exactly does modified mean?? I mean i can see 3000 if buying all name brand ricer stuff but i just cant see in raw materials costing so much...WOuld someone mind listing the parts that are needed to do a turbo...
