The cable on my auto shift to trans arm is very tight. It is a 4T60e swap and the cable bracket was measured and made so that the shifter worked perfectly when the drivetrain was out. It just goes into park now but with too much lever pressure. Short of modifying the bracket, is there any way to...

Hey everyone got a question everytime I go to put the shifter into reverse I have to hold it all the way over to make the reverse lights come on. I was wondering do I have to take the shifter apart inorder to adjust it to make the reverse lights come on or do I have to do it by the cable ???

how do i set the cables, i replaced the trans yesturday and i ahd to reuse the old ballstuds that the cable snaps on to. My question is how do i deterim where they need to be set at. is there a procedure or jusst mess with it till im happy.
