Finally Started my Choptop!

I'm PROUD to announce that I have started my choptop this past week. I have decided to take a slightly different tack then most. My chop is only 1.5 inches as measured in the back, has a meaner front slop then most and a roof wider by 2 inches. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here...

4.9 Top mount. Dogbone?

My alternator is hitting the strut tower on my 88 when I really nail the throttle. Kind of a cool spark show =). Anyone have pictures of a top mount for the 4.9 or maybe any engine swap? I'm thinking about using the dog mount location and coming up with something to mount to the head. Pictures...

4.9 Owners with Carb need help

I need 2 know 2 things 1st im using a 91 4.9 now there is no possible way to use the stock caddy distributor? A buddy say i could run an ignition wire to it and it would fire off each cyl cause it has its own built in coil. I planned on plugging into where it has +batt & -ground on the dist.2nd...

The Mutt becomes a Chop Top
