Installing poly everywhere   (Archive: TD&Q - by The Funkmaster, started: 09-18-2006, last post: 2007-03-15 11:29:48 CET)
Well, I have a whole bunch of polyurethane just sitting around in my toolbox. I have a poly bushing for every pivot on the car, and I'd like to install them. I've never done much suspension work, so I have some questions.-Am I going to have to burn out the old bushings like I did with the cradle...

Fuel feed/return line Q's   (Archive: TD&Q - by The Funkmaster, started: 08-11-2006, last post: 2007-03-15 11:31:05 CET)
Just a quick question so I don't do anything rash before I have to... Does anyone know if I have to remove the gas tank entirely to install new feed and return lines? Or is there sufficient room to reach up there between frame and tank to install? Thanks!!!Steve

Re-doing the cradle area... pics!   (Archive: TD&Q - by The Funkmaster, started: 06-29-2006, last post: 2007-03-15 11:32:37 CET)
Well, after pulling the engine and cradle assembly out of my car, I have managed to get rather a lot done. I pulled the clutch and associated hardware, which had been manufactured wrong by Spec. (Don't buy their stuff... terrible customer service!!!) I took a look at the throwout bearing, and saw...

Look! A newbie!   (Archive: GFC - by The Funkmaster, started: 10-14-2004, last post: 2005-01-19 11:45:43 CET)
Hello everyone! My name is Steve, and I'll be your newbie today. I've been lurking here for around 9 months or so, and bought a Fiero about three months ago. My buddy (Mizer) got me hooked on these wee speedy cars, and I had no choice but to buy one. I managed to snag a gold 1986 GT. The motor...

Anybody have a CF rear decklid?   (Archive: GFC - by The Funkmaster, started: 10-03-2006, last post: 2007-03-15 11:42:25 CET)
Hi guys!Just checking to see if anyone here has a decklid made of carbon fiber? I know Kingdom Kustoms makes theirs, and I was looking into it, just wanted to get some people's opinions on them and see some pics of them on GT's if possible. Also, does anyone have any idea as far as weight savings...

I have a dilemma!   (Archive: GFC - by The Funkmaster, started: 06-13-2005, last post: 2006-02-06 12:27:01 CET)
A good one, though. One that causes you to think, to ask yourself searching questions.I want opinions, thoughts, and a good screaming match. Well, maybe not that, but I need people to try and prove each other wrong so I can make a good choice. My choices:1: Turbocharger (kit or home design). I would...

Regarding West Coast Fiero   (Archive: GFC - by The Funkmaster, started: 02-15-2005, last post: 2005-08-18 11:20:23 CEST)
A while back, I decided to purchase a few things from WCF. A dogbone and an engine mount were selected and bought, and my money was sent. This was early in the year, maybe halfway through January. The product arrived today, (Seems to me to be average shipping time, so no complaints there), and...

Game over   (Archive: GFC - by The Funkmaster, started: 04-05-2005, last post: 2005-08-18 11:19:22 CEST)
The Fiero has cost me too much. It still won't drive. I have taken insurance off it, and will be storing it indefinitely. One day in a few years, maybe I'll take the cover off and tinker with something... But I doubt it. The Fiero is a fun toy, but if a toy cannot be used, then what is the point? I...
