3/8" wheel spacers, what effect on handeling

Ok Fiero Chicks car has Cavilier wheels on it that have crappy back spacing. I don't know the exact numbers, but she has 16" wheels with 215/40/16 rubber on them. Aside from the massive wheel gap, (stock springs) the wheels are tucked in a lot more than stock. I have a pair of 3/8" wheel spacers...
