3.1 Stroker, need simple answers

would this setup would alright? i am going to probly buy the 3.1 stroker kit and thinking about buying to comp cams 2030 cam kit. i know the 2030 is similar to the fiero stock cam, but a bit more aggressive. is this setup going to make the computer go wild or will it work out ok?

Is it worth the time to rebuild a 3.1?

My best friend gave me the 3.1 out of his '92 cutlass supreme s I know it needs to be re-ringed and new gaskets I priced the kit at autozone and they say the kit is 280 I wanted to know if it is worth it to do the job or should I just spring the money for a new motor?
