3.1 intake on a 2.8?

I have read different posts about using the stock fiero intake on a 3.1 engine. On the flip side, shouldn't you be able to use the 3.1 intake on a 2.8? Would there be any benefit in doing so?

Stroker Kits 2.8 to 3.1 or 3.2

3.1 conversion

I am likely going to install a 3.1 in place of the 2.8. Can I use an alluminum head engine if I only use the short block and discard the heads? I do not want to use the 2.8 due to the oiling issues that were resolved in the more modern engines. There are lots if 3.1 engine cores available, but...

I Have Always thought my Fiero Had a 2.8 But I drove a 2.8 earlier this week and i noticed a lot less power than in mine !!! I was simply wondering if you could actually see a difference between a 2.8 and a 3.1 by simply looking at it ???

Turbo 3.1 still not quite working properly

Okay, I have double my efforts to get my turbo 3.1 working and have progressed in isolating the problem, but yet I still am baffled.The engine is a rebuilt 2.8, stroked and cleaned up. Normally aspirated it ran fine. I then added a turbo, which ran a little lean. I was using bosh platinum plugs...

i need to replace a motor in a 89 cavalier.. it has a 2.8 multiport injection system.. the motor i was going to replace it with is a 3.1 either out of a 92 cavalier or one out of a 94 cutlass supreme...i know the motor is the same but is anything else different that could possibly give me trouble.....

3.1 Turbo with intercooler from 90GP to Fiero

Ok some of you may remeber this engine that McClaren helped PMD drop into the GP in 1990. Not too many produced and it was not long before the 24 valve DOC 3.4 so in just disapeared. Anyone dropped one of these into a Fiero? If so tell me about it as I'm contemplating doing so.Thanks
