fiero store scan tool   (Archive: TD&Q - by Norway, started: 02-26-2012, last post: 2013-03-14 10:10:04 CET)
HiWas wondering if anyone used the type of scan tool offered by the Fiero store. It is suppose to offer real time data on all sensors. It would be nice to play a little more than just jmping the OBD I port to get codes. Does anyone know some free scan tools I can download?thanks

'86 2.8 v6, rebuilt from a basketcase so I have no idea what kind of shape the parts are in. The car sat for about 8 years before I got it so I replaced both the pump and the filter before running it. I figured I might as well replace the filter again thinking that I may have cleaned any more...

Real Time Error Code Logging   (Archive: TD&Q - by Lone Ranger, started: 08-03-2010, last post: 2012-01-11 09:58:37 CET)
I have searched the archives and read a lot about logging ECM info for tuning purposes, particularly pertaining to engine swaps. What I would specifically like to know is what do I need to figure out what my engine is doing in real time? I have a laptop & WinALDL. What else do I need? I assume...

ECU reader   (Archive: TD&Q - by My1stMidEng, started: 03-22-2010, last post: 2011-05-02 10:42:26 CEST)
I finally got my 88 v6 running - runing like crap though. The idle is around 1500 cold and will not accelerate. 2500 when hot. It must be throwing codes because the check engine light stays on. I was going to ground the B pin and see if I get a code 12 but beyond that I need a reader. This is my...

I have an 86 gt, its running fine, but it seems a tad on the cold blooded side. I can let the car war up for 20 minutes and it will hit about 220 then as soon as i drive it goes back to about 180. I'm running a stock fan switch and thermostat. I get solid heat, but i can see at a stoplight that the...
