3.1 pistons

Is there any flat top 3.1 pistons? Do they have to be specially made? I've got an '89 Firebird 2.8 block and heads , 3.1 #981 crank and dished .030 pistons. I'd like to use a flat top pistons for more compression, do they exist?Thanks

Ecm question

I'm thinking about selling my 3.1L setup to a guy with a Iron duke. Would the stock 2.8 ecm go into the stock 2.5 connector? I have been looking all over for this info, and any other concerns would be welcomed.

Differance between 88 2.8 v6 and a 85 2.8 v6

Is there a differance between the 88's and the older ones? And the shaft going into it, is it replaceable, or is it part of the rack?

I have some 3.1 swap questions

Does anyone have any information on exactly which GM longitudinal 3.1 will be a direct swap into 86 GT? Seems like 3.1s are a dime a dozen out there and can be had for cheep but I could be wrong. Been looking it over and all I've gathered was that I need a 3.1 with Iron heads and to swap my top end...
