Starter issue on a 3.1 Corsica

Meet a Fiero owner and wondering if anyone knows who he is?

I entered my fiero in the Antigo, WI car show yesterday. To my surprise there was another one there to. It was a yellow 87 Gt with a 3800 s/c swap. Has two black dashes on the drivers side fender. Wondering if anyone knows who this is? He also had a fiero fanatic sticker in the back window.

3.1 swap with a distributor and its intake?

I came acrost this picture. The owner was changing the computer and adding a turbo. But can you just drop in a distributor, rotate the intake, and run the aluminum heads like that? Cause it seems like it would work in theory. The only problem I would find is that the intake and heads might flow too...
