WTB: GOOD 2.8 or 3.1 engine near PA

I am looking for a good 2.8 or 3.1 for my wife's 88 Forumla. Unfortunately the last engine I got for it was supposedly freshly rebuilt and had several spun rod bearings. Cash in hand and can pick up ASAP. Closer to Harrisburg the better but I will drive for a good engine at a good price....

it's no in a fiero although I know you guys can help figure this out. 96 cutlass ciera.when my friends wife starts the car every now and then it starts with a high idle. without touching the pedal she shuts it off and turns It back on and everything is normal. the tsp was replaced about a year...

Figured I'd post this on here for kicks. Well went to pull her out for spring. Go to turn it over and it like its hydro locked till I floor the gas pedal then starter turns it over just fine but wouldn't start. Checked for fire had a bad coil fixed that. Ok found 91 transport with a 3.1 in it. And a 3.4 out of a camero both hav around 120k and have the same price so im Looking to see what ill need, So far I hear olds omega intake and distributor to make both work on carbs. I see ill need a fiero timing cover and im thinking is it like the 3.4 swap...

Just like the title saids,I've have my 2.8 out and was going to get a 3.4 but I started to think what if I rebuild the 2.8 and make it a 3.1 or 3.4, has anyone done this ? And if u did , did it work good or did u regret not getting a real 3.4 .
