3800 aluminum lower intake gasket

When installing a new aluminum gasket do i need to use gasket sealer anywhere? The old one was covered in the stuff including the yellow o-rings the orange end pieces and even the plastic elbows. Is all that necessary?

I know that these intakes have been tried before but all of them that ive seen has both throttlebodies point the same direction. Has anyone made one that would have one point at the drivers side and one at the passengers side. The only thing i can think of as being an issue would be synchronizing....
