Calling 4.9ppl, 4.9 Questions
(Archive: TD&Q - by Psychosis39, started: 06-29-2003, last post: 2003-11-10 11:07:52 CET)
I have a 4.9 out of a 1992 Seville STS, I notice my exhuast manifolds are different then the ones used in your swaps. Once I get the 4.9L in the car and everything; would I be able to take that car to the exhuast shop and have them bend me a custom exhuast? Would it fit with the seville manifolds??

Doing a 4.9 Cadillac V8 swap with 5 speed manual... I already have the modified flywheel ready....Are the 4.9 flex plate bolts OK to use on the thicker flywheel? Are there bolts from a different engine that will work better?

With a 4.9 is it better to ground on the alunimun block or the cast iron heads? I have a front mount battery just running the negative cable.
